Note: Estimated costs of materials are only for those needing to purchase new paint sets, brushes and/or canvases/papers. Expenses will be much lower for those already having these items.

Note: Guild members receive a 20% tuition discount on all classes and workshops.Associate members receive a10% discount.

Registration Deadlines

Perspective students will be required to register for a class or workshop by the stipulated deadline, no less than 7 days prior to the first meeting of the class. If a person withdraws from a class before 7 days of class starting, they will receive a refund minus a $15 cancellation fee. If a person withdraws from a class after the stipulated deadline, they will not receive a refund. If a class is canceled, registrants will receive a full refund in the form of a check. Members have the flexibility to transfer their refund to another class or towards membership dues.

Best Watercolor Techniques by Terry Armstrong

The Goshen Painters’ Guild welcomes the return of popular, award-winningfull/time artist/teacher Terry Armstrong of Warsaw, Indiana. You will learn many of his best watercolor techniques using a subject he will have you sketch before your arrival.
Join us Saturday, November 2nd from 8:30am-4pm
(we will have a 1 hour lunch break).
The cost for the workshop is $108.

Painting Purposeful Abstracts with Acrylics by Brenda Stichter

Indiana Award Winning artist Brenda Stichter will lead this intermediate level acrylic workshop, guiding us in creating abstract paintings that express a concept through composition, color choices, and mark-making. Class will start with introductions and prepping substrates and will move quickly into discussion and demonstration of composition and color theory. Students will participate in practicing principles and choosing their own concept to paint. Afternoon hours will be spent painting students' abstract paintings with individual attention from Brenda available. Join us Saturday, November 23rd from 9am-4pm (we will have a 1 hour lunch break). The cost for the workshop is $140, associates $126, and members $112. Please pay attention to the supply list before coming to the workshop.

Make & Take Holiday Craft Events with Amanda Wagner

Come join us at the Goshen Painters Guild for some festive and fun Make & Take holiday crafts! Each night will be a new project so come to all! These projects would make excellent presents, decorations and hostess gifts!!! We hope to see you! We are between the Farmers Market and Sweet Water Interiors

November 7th - ornament wall hanging ***bring any old ornaments, a nice stick, string or beads (materials will be provided but you can help by bringing anything you want to use!)

November 12th - junk journals

November 14th - up-cycled decor

November 19th - make your own wrapping paper

All events are 6-7:30pm drop in style

All events are a suggested donation of $5
