Umbrellas over the large blooms keep petals from getting pelted when hit by heavy rain. This could destroy the flower head and disqualify it for an upcoming competition. The purple and white umbrellas were daintily protecting the blooms!
Cammi picked blooms for her cut flower arrangements while Cheryll Simmons, Kathy Stiffney and Linda Wilson work on their paintings.
Denise Potter chose to paint this pretty scene. This painting is unfinished at this time but is showing potential.
